Isaac Newton once said, “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants”. I am a proud semi-finished product of “The Global Waves” and I am still under the concern of the leadership of this Non Governmental Organization (N.G.O)
Retrospectively, I had no intention of furthering my education since the final results of my secondary academics called for nothing better. I actually threw in the towel of life because there was no sign of positive change until I crossed paths with Dr. Afia Pokuaa Amoah- the founder of “The Global Waves”. She motivated, nurtured, ‘disciplined’ and taught me how to transform a life of no-hope into one of greatness. Even though she relocated to the United State of America, that did not depreciate her invariable positive influence in my life.
The counseling from Dr. Afia Pokuaa Amoah gradually triggered the desire to further my education and, also, to do my best in all things. Thanks to “The Global Waves”, I graduated with a second class division in HND ACCOUNTANCY in the year 2018.
I am glad to say that in-the-books of the organization which I currently work with, I am the only employee with the fastest promotion and, also, the only account officer to become an internal auditor within less than one-and-half years.

Applying to Dental School as a foreign-trained dentist in the USA is a challenging and highly competitive process. While applying, I needed the guidance and expertise of someone who had already been through it. This is where I was blessed to meet Dr Afia Amoah – a patron of this organization. She is such an amazing person! She is always responsive, encouraging and constantly makes time to answer my pertinent questions.
