This will provide a unique platform to connect current dental students through “Stu_Dent connect” and provide them with mentorship, support and opportunities that will set them up for success in their career. These dental students will have the unique opportunity to mentor and empower young students in Junior and Senior high schools with an interest in dentistry through dental clubs set up in various schools. These young students will become community oral health advocates under the tutelage and leadership of members of Stu_Dent connect by embarking on community dental education with screenings and provision of care by the dental students. Members of Stu_Dent connect will be paired with mentors locally and internationally based on their areas of interest and may have opportunities to engage in shadowing and or exchange programs to help tease out their interest in areas of specialization.
